Terry Foreman, Art Teacher
Terry Foreman has a B.A. in Art from William Paterson University, with a minor in Psychology. She has worked as a graphic designer, art teacher and arts administrator for over 30 years. She currently serves as the Executive Director for the Newark Arts Alliance, an organization she helped create in 1992.Terry has also been creating public murals, including the CSX train mural at the beginning of Main Street and several others throughout Newark. Several murals have been teaching projects working with at-risk teens. She has taught art to children and adults for over 20 years at area art centers, in her home studio and through the Newark Arts Alliance. She creates the art curriculum for "Art to Go" a traveling art program and for art projects at public events like Newark Community Day and Newark Nite.
She has been an NCCL parent for 14 years. Her older daughter is an NCCL (and U. of D.!) alumnus and her younger daughter is currently in group 3.
