Fundraisers
NCCL holds several specific events each year, in addition to ongoing fundraisers. We invite you to participate to the extent you desire. Participation is completely optional.
Ongoing School Fundraisers:
- Grocery Store Cards: An ongoing fundraiser that can have a big impact on the school's bottom line is grocery cards. If you shop at Acme, Shop Rite, Pathmark, or Superfresh, please consider buying grocery cards. NCCL makes 5% on all cards purchased. These profits go directly into our budget, reducing tuition! You pay face value, so there is no additional cost to you. You can buy the cards from the Grocery Committee on Thursdays after school from 2:45 to 3:45. Or, fill out the order form and drop it in Bette's box.
- Shop Online:
You can earn a significant percentage for NCCL at no additional cost to you when you start your shopping at www.ncclschool.com/shop.htm. You can order products from Amazon.com, and over 200 other merchants through Boxtops for Education Market Place.
- Giant and Super G: Please designate NCCL as your A+Bonus Bucks School.
- Safeway (formerly Genuardi's): Safeway will donate up to 3% of your Club Card purchases to NCCL every time you shop. Register your Club Card at https://secure.escrip.com/jsp/supporter/registration/step1.jsp to participate in this ongoing fundraiser. NCCL's Group ID is 6542545. Safeway recently bought Genuardi's in this area, but the website and Group ID are valid for both store names.
- Don't throw away that inkjet cartridge! Do you have an HP, Lexmark, Xerox, Compaq, Brother, Dell, Canon, or Apple inkjet printer? Place your empty inkjet cartridge in the original box or a sealed plastic bag and drop it off at school. (Note: Epson cartridges cannot be recycled because they don't have a print head.) We will receive up to $4.00 for each cartridge turned in, which will go directly into NCCL's general operating budget, helping to keep tuition down.
- Box Tops for Education: Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products. Box Tops are worth 10 cents each when the school sends them to General Mills. Place them in the Box Tops for Education envelope on the school bulletin board.
